Socio-Economic Development Association (SEDA) is a community-based organization established in 2019 under the aegis of the Manipur Baptist Convention. SEDA works with vulnerable and marginalized communities across Manipur to promote peace, resilience, and sustainable development. Our programs focus on peacebuilding, humanitarian relief, education, child development, livelihoods, food security, women’s empowerment, and environmental care. We work closely with communities to strengthen local capacities and community-based institutions. Special attention is given to women, children, internally displaced persons, and families affected by conflict and hardship. Through inclusive and community-led approaches, SEDA strives to create opportunities for recovery, dignity, and self-reliance. Our work is rooted in compassion, justice, equality, and peaceful coexistence.
